Addressing deliveries to Spain
When addressing a parcel you’re sending to Spain, it’s important to remember that the postcode, town and province should all be written on the same line. The province name should also be written in brackets. As such, the formatting should read as follows:
The name of the recipient
The house/building number and street name
The postcode, town or city name and the province in brackets
The country
In practice, this would read as:

Will I need to deal with customs in Spain?
The UK may have left the European Union, but this doesn’t mean you will have to worry about Spanish customs. Even after existing, frictionless arrangements end on 31st December 2020, our team will take care of everything for you so that you can continue to run your business without slowing down.
Are there any prohibited or restricted items I cannot send?
While there are currently no published restrictions on items you can send to Spain, there are a number of prohibited items that will not be allowed through. These include:
- Ammunition and weapons, including firearms
- Aviation regulated solids or liquids (substances with narcotic, noxious or irritating characteristics which would cause annoyance or discomfort if leakage occurred)
- Coins, bank notes, other forms of currency or securities
