The Delivery Group are pleased to be launching their new Returns Service to further extend their portfolio. With the aim to support our existing clients and new business along the way, we feel the Return’s Service will help optimise, update and support our clients databases moving forward.
The service is simple and easy to use. It has been designed to meet the Client requirements for all returned mailing pieces,
The returned item will be recorded in one of three ways:
1. 2D barcode scanned – these are present on the majority of mailings.
2. Mailing URN (Key verified) – used for our A2>A5 format mailings which are inkjet printed and the 2D barcode cannot be used.
3. Manual capture of surname/organisation name and postcode for catalogues requested where you cannot add either the 2D barcode at present or the Mailing URN.
The rationale for the cost savings are based on our technology lead operation and advanced OCR / Barcode and information capture suite.
The output will be presented as a CSV extract with all the parameters matching your root cause codes, this gives a simple and accurate, but easily manipulated output that can be used internally to update records.
The return codes will be stated accordingly: –
1– addressee gone away
2 – address incomplete
3 – address inaccessible
4 – addressee unknown
5 – refused
6 – not called for
7 – no such address
The file will be sent securely via SFTP or Secured Mail can automate the process from our systems to push out the information to clients, depending on the programming and the verification required.
Our ISO27001 accreditation provides you with compete peace of mind for the integrity of your data.
