France & Spanish Wildfires
Wildfires in France are causing widespread disruption in the southwest of the country, in particular the Bordeaux region.
In Spain, Madrid, Avila, Toledo and Castellon have declared national emergencies.
Spanish Post Correos has informed that several forest fires are affecting various regions of Spain with Authorities ordering road closures and residents evacuation in several towns to protect lives.

Middle East Operational Update
Due to the current situation in the Middle East, export traffic to the destinations listed below are likely to be affected. Some shipments transit through impacted areas, and as a result, customers may experience delays.

At this time, we are continuing to accept all traffic; however, the situation remains highly fluid and may change at short notice.

Incident: Customs Delays
Chilean Post have informed us that new customs regulations require taxes on goods imported into Chile to be paid at origin. Many items are arriving without the required VAT or sufficient electronic advance data, leading to a build‑up of consignments awaiting customs evaluation. As a result, delays may be observed.
Severe Weather
Chilean Post has informed that its operations in the Coquimbo and Atacama regions are currently being affected by a weather system with heavy rainfall. Transport and delivery of all mail to and from the Coquimbo region will be delayed by at least 24 hours.
In addition, the following areas will not have home delivery services where delays will be likely observed until further notice: – Illapel; Los Vilos; La Serena – Plaza de Armas; Mall Plaza La Serena; La Pampa; La Serena – El Milagro; Ovalle; Vicuña

Incident: Typhoon Bavi
China Post has informed that Typhoon Bavi is severely affecting the southeastern coastal areas of China. Typhoon Bavi expected to make landfall on 11 July.
Heavy rainfall is also expected in northern and northeastern China with road flooding and traffic disruptions to the affected areas with Postal operation severely impacted in affected regions.

Democratic Republic of Congo

Incident: Armed Conflict
Democratic Republic of the Congo Post has updated that suspension of transport routes between cities under rebel occupation remains in place.
As result, continue to prevent secure postal delivery to the affected regions in the eastern provinces, in particular North Kivu, South Kivu and Ituri.

Gibraltar

Incident: Cessation of Air Transport for Mail
Gibraltar Post has informed that following the implementation of the agreement between the European Union and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in respect of Gibraltar, 15 July 2026, commercial air transport operating to and from Gibraltar will no longer be permitted to carry commercial freight (letters and documents can still be handled)
Hence from 15th July 2026, postal items will no longer be transported by air directly to or from Gibraltar but by road via Spain. Transit times from UK to Gibraltar is therefore likely increased as result.

Hong Kong Post have informed us that Tropical Cyclone Warning no.8 was Signalled at 20.10 on 25 July 2026 until 12.40 on 26 July 2026.
As a result, the processing and conveyance of all mail and parcel in Hong Kong were disrupted during this period
Operational impacts are expected to continue for at least one day following the resumption of services to clear any backlog.

Poste Italiane has informed that adverse weather conditions currently affecting Sicily are impacting mail operations, and deliveries in the region may experience delays.
Customs Processing Delays
We are currently experiencing delays to items destined for Italy due to technical issues within Italian Customs. We are working closely with our partners to help resolve the situation as quickly as possible and apologise for any inconvenience caused. Strike
Post Italiane has informed that an Italian union has called a strike commencing 7 July 2026.
As a result, postal services may experience delays and disruption until the strike is over.
