Bosnia and Herzegovina

Incident: Flooding

Bosnia Post have informed us that heavy rainfall has led to floods in parts of the country resulting in the Government declaring a state of natural disaster.

The flooding has caused major logistical disruption, with road closures and has direct impacts on postal infrastructure so delays are likely during this period.

Georgia

Georgia Post have informed us that temporary delays on all mail types may be observed while the Office of Exchange and sorting centre are going through an internal re-organisation process.

Caribbean Region

Incident: Hurricane Beryl

Due to hurricane Beryl, flights in and out of the region are being effected with a number of temporary cancellations. Postal operations locally are also being affected

As a result, delays will be observed for the following countries, subject to local recovery and until flights properly resume:- St Lucia, St Vincent & the Grenadines (Postal services re-established in Mustique, Bequia and Kingstown only currently), Grenada (Main PO now open but disruption remains in outer offices, Carriacou and Petite Martinique) and Jamaica (Mail operations have been partially restored however delays are expected to last until at least the end of August).

There is still no access to postal facilities for postcode areas KY1-2000 to KY2-2401 and KY3-2500 to KY3-2501. As result, mail operations remain suspended in these areas until further notice.

Security Situation

As a result of the current situation in Israel we are experiencing delays with many flight cancellations. This is a fluid situation and may change at short notice. Throughout the country, the retention period for unclaimed items has been extended to 30 days. All items are subject to delay and we will continue to provide updates as we receive them.

Please note at this time, we are unable to accept items addressed to Gaza or Khan Yunis and The West Bank.

Italy

Flooding

Poste Italiane have informed us that adverse weather conditions in the Sicilia region on November 12th and 13th has resulted in severe disruptions.

As a result, the delivery of all mail types is currently affected, particularly in the areas of Catania, Enna, Messina, Ragusa and Siracusa where delays may be observed during this period.

Lebanon

Incident: Flight Cancellations

Lebanon Post have informed us that it has entered a state of war since the 19th September 2024 with many flight cancellations and road closures.

This is a fluid situation and whilst we continue to export to the country, this could change at short notice. Whilst the post is trying to maintain service, the scope of impact cannot be fully determined at present and delays will likely be observed throughout this period.

Spain

Incident: Torrential Rain

The Spanish Postal service have informed us that due to the torrential rain in the Eastern and Southern part of the country on Tuesday 29th October, several roads, railway lines and bridges have been cut off.

The most effected provinces are Albacete (postcode 02XXX) and Valencia (postcode 46XXX) where deliveries have been suspended in most of the postcodes. Some areas of Cadiz (11XXX), Castellon (12xxx), (Teruel (44XXX) and Almeria (04XXX) have also been affected where delays can be expected currently.

Restrictions on this route continue to be challenging owing to civil unrest in the country and as a result a full service suspension is now in place. Any items currently held in OEs are expected to be returned to sender.

Thailand

Heavy rains have led to floods and landslides in several other areas of northern and central Thailand and road blockages are causing delays in the transportation and delivery of mail items in postcodes areas 13XXX, 43XXX, 50XXX, 57XXX, 63XXX, 65XXX, 83XXX and 91XXX.
